Designed as a bespoke product for Templestock’s customer, this locker provides a unique solution to a client problem. The company required secure units for their engineering staff, with segregated wet and dry storage. A central partition allows wet overalls and boots to be kept separate from dry clothes to change into at the end of the day. The lockers are mounted on steel frame plinths over a heating system, which allows warm air to circulate through the interior. Louvres formed in the sheet steel assist with ventilation. The client was keen to keep the locker room clutter-free, so the units were designed with a sloping top to prevent items being left above them.

Bodj - a division of A.J Wells & Sons - is a fair trade programme selling exclusive hand made tiles and homeware manufactured by a number of small developing businesses in Cambodia, South East Asia. The Stove Stool has been developed to extend the range of fireside accessories already sold by the company. Employing traditional weaving techniques, and indigenous materials, the stool provides an ideal place to warm your feet, indulge in intimate flame-lit conversation, or simply a place to sit when building or cleaning the fire. The stools stack to avoid cluttering space when not in use, and can alternatively be used as log baskets when turned upside down. The Stove Stool will be launched at the end of 2006 but has already stirred great interest within the Bodj dealer network.
